Eye drops 2.5 mL.
1 mL contains 0.04 mg of travoprost.
The first-line drug for the treatment of glaucoma. Full selective prostaglandin F2α agonist. It lowers intraocular pressure by increasing aqueous humour outflow via the trabecular meshwork and through uveoscleral pathway. Hypotensive action lasts over 24 hours.
Posology and method of administration
Instil 1 drop to the affected eye(s) once daily.
To lower elevated intraocular pressure in patients with ocular hypertension or open-angle glaucoma.
