Pharmaceutical form
Eye drops 2.5 mL.
Composition
1 mL contains 0.05 mg of latanoprost, 5 mg of timolol.
Product characteristics
It is prescribed with insufficient response to the treatment of glaucoma with β-blockers or prostaglandin analogs. It lowers intraocular pressure through a combination of various mechanisms of action: decreased secretion and increased aqueous humour outflow. Hypotensive action begins after an hour and lasts for 24 hours.
Posology and method of administration
Instil 1 drop to the affected eye(s) once daily.
Therapeutic indications
To lower intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma and elevated intraocular pressure with insufficient response to treatment with topical beta-blockers or prostaglandin analogs.
